GPU Availability 2026: Only 1 of 5 Tracked Graphics Cards Is Buyable at Newegg, The Honest Guide

Two Sundays ago, four of the five graphics cards we track had an in-stock, sold-by-Newegg listing. Last Sunday it was two. This Sunday it was one.
That one is the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB at $829.99. Here's where every card we track stands, and what it means for a build you're pricing right now.
What We Found at Newegg This Week
Here's what our Oct 18 check showed, using the sold-by-Newegg process described on our Methodology page:
RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (MSI Shadow 2X OC Plus): $829.99, unchanged from last week
RTX 5070 (MSI Gaming Trio OC): out of stock, after $869.99 last week
RTX 5070 Ti 16GB (GIGABYTE WindForce): out of stock for a second check
RX 9060 XT 16GB (PowerColor Reaper): out of stock for a second check
RTX 5090: out of stock for a fifth check
An out-of-stock result here means we found no new, in-stock listing sold by Newegg. These cards may still be available from marketplace sellers or other retailers, which we don't track. We also can't tell you why any of them went out, because we don't know.
Our position: when most of the GPUs you'd consider have no listing, check stock before you check price. A price you can't buy at isn't one you can plan a build around.
From our Sunday check: Seven of our 22 tracked products had no in-stock, sold-by-Newegg listing, up from six the week before. Four of those seven are graphics cards.
Card by Card: What's Buyable and What Isn't
RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (MSI Shadow 2X OC Plus): In Stock at $829.99
Price: $829.99 Specs: 16GB VRAM Best For: Anyone pricing a build right now, since it's the only tracked GPU you can buy from Newegg this week. It's the GPU in our Mainstream Core build. The Catch: It's $50.00 (6.4%) above where it sat for our first three checks, $779.99, and it has held at $829.99 for two.
The price has not moved in either direction since it rose on Oct 11. It's 38.0% of our $2,181.75 Mainstream Core build. Source: Newegg
RTX 5070 (MSI Gaming Trio OC): Out of Stock
Price: Out of Stock Specs: 12GB VRAM Best For: Not applicable this week. It isn't in any of our three builds. The Catch: Last in stock Oct 11 at $869.99, which it had held for three checks in a row.
This is the newest card to disappear from our list. Source: Newegg
RTX 5070 Ti 16GB (GIGABYTE WindForce): Out of Stock
Price: Out of Stock Specs: 16GB VRAM Best For: Not applicable this week. It's the GPU in our Apex Core build, so that build's total is incomplete. The Catch: Last in stock Oct 4 at $1,169.99, which is $340.00 above the RTX 5060 Ti's price today.

RX 9060 XT 16GB (PowerColor Reaper): Out of Stock
Price: Out of Stock Specs: 16GB VRAM Best For: Not applicable this week. It's the GPU in our Entry Core build, so that build's total is incomplete. The Catch: Last in stock Oct 4 at $499.99, which was the lowest GPU price in our tracked set that day.
On Oct 4, the cheapest tracked GPU you could buy at Newegg cost $499.99. On Oct 18, it cost $829.99. That's a $330.00 gap, though it compares two different cards on two different dates. Source: Newegg
RTX 5090: Out of Stock for a Fifth Check
Price: Out of Stock Specs: 32GB VRAM Best For: Not applicable. We haven't locked a specific model, because no listing has appeared. The Catch: Five straight checks with no in-stock, sold-by-Newegg listing. We've covered this card in depth in our post on the RTX 5090 shortage.

What This Means If You're Buying a GPU Right Now
Check stock first. Four of the five cards we track had a listing two weeks ago. One does now.
Don't use an old price in your budget. The cheapest GPU in stock was $499.99 on Oct 4 and $829.99 on Oct 18.
Price your build with the GPU you can actually buy. In our Mainstream Core build, the GPU is 38.0% of $2,181.75.
Our Entry Core and Apex Core builds can't be fully priced until their GPUs return, so our Build Cost Calculator shows those totals as "so far."
If the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB fits your build, you can check its live price at Newegg. Prices change after we record them, so confirm before you buy.
The Verdict
Check stock before you check price. This week the only tracked GPU with an in-stock, sold-by-Newegg listing was the RTX 5060 Ti at $829.99, and the other four had none. That's one retailer and three checks of the full set, so we're not calling a long-term trend. If at least three of the four missing cards come back and stay in stock for two straight checks, we'll change our mind and say so.
If the GPU you wanted is out of stock, would you buy the RTX 5060 Ti now, or wait for your first-choice card to return? Tell us which one and what it's going into.
