SYSTEM MEMORY DRAM & VRAM STATUS
Current Situation:
Our tracked G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 rose to $669.99, up $110.00 (19.6%) from last week and $20.00 above its Sept 21 price of $649.99. The Patriot Viper Venom 32GB DDR5-6000 fell $20.00 (4.2%) to $459.99, and the G.SKILL Flare X5 16GB (2x8GB) kit rose $2.00 to $269.99.
Consumer Action:
Last week’s dip didn’t hold, so one week at one retailer wasn’t a trend. If your build is ready, the Patriot kit is the lowest-priced 32GB option we track.

SOLID-STATE STORAGE NVMe SSD STATUS
Current Situation:
The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (MSI Shadow 2X OC Plus) rose to $829.99, up $50.00 (6.4%) from $779.99. The RTX 5070 (MSI Gaming Trio OC) held at $869.99. The RTX 5070 Ti (GIGABYTE WindForce) and the RX 9060 XT (PowerColor Reaper) had no in-stock, sold-by-Newegg listing this week, and the RTX 5090 remains out of stock for a fourth check.
Current Situation:
WD Black SN850X 2TB fell to $360.15, down $69.84 (16.2%) from $429.99. The SN850X 1TB fell to $229.61, down $20.38 (8.2%) from $249.99. Both are the lowest prices we’ve recorded for those drives. The Crucial T705 2TB (Gen 5) is out of stock for a fourth check.
Consumer Action:
Only two of our five tracked GPUs were buyable at Newegg this week, and the one that moved went up. If a GPU is the centerpiece of your build, check stock before you plan around a price.

If a Gen 4 drive is on your list, this week’s prices are the lowest in our data. One week is still one week, so we’ll see whether they hold.

Crucial T705 2TB (Gen 5) pricing will appear here once it’s back in stock at Newegg. As of our October 11, 2026 check, it has been unavailable for four consecutive checks.
The RTX 5070 line begins Sept 27, when we changed to the MSI Gaming Trio OC. The RX 9060 XT line shows the PowerColor Reaper only. We tracked the XFX Mercury on Sept 27 ($499.99, see the history table). Gaps are weeks a model wasn’t tracked or had no in-stock listing, not missing data.

Current Situation:
The LG UltraGear 27" fell to $169.99, down $80.00 (32.0%) from $249.99. The DIYPC ARGB-N5-BK case fell to $61.94, down $1.93 (3.0%). The Ryzen 7 9800X3D ($469.00), Ryzen 5 9600X ($220.00), GIGABYTE B650 EAGLE AX ($139.99), Fractal Design North ($123.99), be quiet! Pure Power 12 ($79.90), MSI MPG A1000GS ($109.99), and Thermalright cooler ($47.90) all held flat. Two items had no in-stock listing: the ASRock B650M PRO RS (no Wi-Fi) and the ABS Cyclone Aqua prebuilt.
Consumer Action:
The monitor is the notable move here. If you need an AM5 board, the tracked GIGABYTE B650 EAGLE AX stayed in stock at $139.99.
RTX 5090 pricing will appear here once it’s back in stock at Newegg. As of our October 11, 2026 check, it has been unavailable for four consecutive checks.

Less moved this week than disappeared. Six of our 22 tracked products had no in-stock, sold-by-Newegg listing on Sunday, including the RTX 5070 Ti and the RX 9060 XT Reaper, and the RTX 5090 and Crucial T705 stayed out for a fourth straight check.
Among what we could price, memory and storage went in opposite directions. Our tracked Trident Z5 Neo 32GB kit rose $110.00 (19.6%), undoing last week’s dip, while the Patriot Viper Venom 32GB fell 4.2% to $459.99. The WD Black SN850X dropped 16.2% (2TB) and 8.2% (1TB), the lowest prices we’ve recorded for either, and the LG UltraGear fell 32.0%. The RTX 5060 Ti rose 6.4%.
The Mainstream build is the only one we could fully price: $2,131.37, up $9.62 from last week, with the GPU at 38.9% of the total. The Entry build is missing its motherboard and GPU, and the Apex build is missing its GPU, so those totals are partial until the parts return.
